How we use AI
What the AI does
- Reads your invoice photos and PDFs and returns the lines (item, quantity, unit, price) for you to check.
- Turns recipe notes you paste into a draft recipe you can edit.
What the AI does not do
- It does not decide prices. Price per pound, margins, alerts and suggestions are calculated by our own code from the numbers you approved.
- It does not send anything or change anything. Every change and every message needs your approval.
Your documents
Documents you upload are sent to Anthropic's API to be read. [State the provider's data retention and training terms as they apply to our account.] We do not put your documents in logs, and we keep spending limits so one account cannot run up unexpected AI use.
Mistakes
AI can misread blurry or unusual documents. That is why every invoice is shown next to its original and nothing counts until you approve it. We measure how often people correct the AI so we can improve it.
